The Local Area
La Laiterie is perfectly positioned between the towns of Villeneuve-sur-Lot, Agen and Cahors, to explore one of the most unspoilt regions of France.
Our local village, Bourlens, with its 11th century church and traditional narrow streets, is just a short walk away and the beautiful Bastide town of Tournon d’Agenais is just a little further. Here you will find an outstanding restaurant, a number of bars and some essential shops. The nearest supermarkets are in Fumel, a short 10 minute drive away.
Relatively untouched the Lot et Garonne is perfect for exploring the real France, rich in culture and history. Famous for its gastronomy, where most days revolve around sitting at a table, enjoying great company, delicious food and lots of wine.
